@bash: verify you downloaded and uncompressed correctly the libevent source. You might need to download a newer version as this article was written almost 3 years ago.

i am new user in linux

a could not install libevent

This message appears after typing the following command cd libevent-1.3e

root@ubuntu:/usr/local/src# cd libevent-1.3e
bash: cd: libevent-1.3e: No such file or directory

so please tell me how i can fix it
